This was a camping weekend for us as a family and seeing how I have never been to a good ol' fashioned ghost town I decided to change that. The story of Gilmore can be read here and they do justice to the story of Gilmore.

I like historic places as well. It is fascinating to see that a few disasters for the town led the townsfolk to call it quits.
